This is a one-of-a-kind mashup that I designed, starting with a leg of a Harley Quinn statue, digitally sculpted by B3dserk Studios, and turned it into a lifesize lamp. Those familiar with A Christmas Story will know exactly what this references. For those unfamiliar, following is an excerpt from the movie, and I think you will see how fitting it is to this piece.
“FRA-GEE-LAY… It must be Italian!”
… he opens the box …
“Would you look at that!?! It’s a leg! Like in a statue. You know what it is?!? Its a LAMP!”
“What a GREAT LAMP! “
The old man’s eyes boggled, overcome by art.
“ I know just the place for it… right in the middle of our front window!”
The lamp blazed forth in unparalleled glory.
“Would you look at that? Just look at it. Isn’t that glorious? It’s indescribably beautiful.”
“What is it?”
“Why, its a Major Award!”
I couldn’t agree more.
